Seriously Ceramics

I am also taking a ceramics class so here is some of my work from that class as well. So far we have only completed some pinch pots and a small project but we just finished a large vessel project that should be glazed in the next few weeks.

Finally Fibers

So recently I declared my Major as Fibers and Material Studies. To celebrate here are some of my recent fibers projects. It includes basket weaving, felting, silk painting, and rigid heddle loom weaving.

Globs of Glass

These are my beginning glass blowing pieces: Some cups and a glass baby doll hand (the photos don't capture it well).

Rolls of Weaving

This is the first work from my weaving class. There are 8 inches of 6 inch pattern drafts that include plain weave, basket weaves and twills.

TEA PARTY

We had to collect something for about 2 weeks then put it in a grid. Luckily I have been collecting tea bags for a dear friend of mine so it made this quite an easy project collection wise.

I am very complicated

I had a bit too much fun with my textured self portrait. There are 34 layers. The challenge for you is to find the multiple parts of my face, my cat and the dinosaur. Happy hunting!
