TEA PARTY

We had to collect something for about 2 weeks then put it in a grid. Luckily I have been collecting tea bags for a dear friend of mine so it made this quite an easy project collection wise.

I am very complicated

I had a bit too much fun with my textured self portrait. There are 34 layers. The challenge for you is to find the multiple parts of my face, my cat and the dinosaur. Happy hunting!

This work was created created in illustrator from a scan of my face. I will admit that I look quite creepy, it got slightly scary to work on after a while. I hope you have lovely nightmares of my psycho killer face tonight.

A Few Things I Have Been Up To

Adventure Time!

On Sunday I went to the Gay-borhood with my good friends Rachel, Lauren and Beth. Rachel and I went exploring on our own and found a nice little gallery that shows people who have not had shows of their own. It was a very useful find. The gallery was called TrickGo. They were showing work by this man named James T. Arnold. His work is colorful illustrations of various imaginative creatures. We also found a cool shop called SOTA or Spirit of the Artist. We talked with the owner who said that he only sells works of people he knows.  I will be sure to head back that way another day.
